Water Infrastructure and Risk Analyses

Water Infrastructure and Risk Analyses

Water management worldwide is facing major challenges: dated and relatively inflexible infrastructures are jeopardising efficiency and sustainability. Added to this are the increasing levels of controversial substances measured in ground and drinking water. ISOE develops innovative concepts on questions of how to sustainably reconstruct infrastructures and adapt them to changing circumstances. We also develop methods of weighing up complex risks as well as strategies to minimise them. The aim is to gain practice-relevant knowledge for integrated water management.
