International Conference on Sustainable Pharmacy – Incentives and Perspectives

On behalf of the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU), University Hospital Freiburg (Department of Environmental Health Sciences) and the Institute for Social-Ecological Research (ISOE) we have the pleasure to invite you to the "2nd International Conference on Sustainable Pharmacy – Incentives and Perspecitves“
Pharmaceuticals may have environmental impacts. Acknowledging this scientifically well known fact Sustainable Pharmacy is an innovative concept that aims to take care of the whole life-cycle of a medicinal product. But how can this be achieved, what is a proper societal and corporate model for Sustainable Pharmacy and who are the key players to promote and implement it? The aim of the conference is to discuss these questions in an open and creative atmosphere.
We are glad to have confirmed contributions i.a. from Alexander Dick (European Patent Attorney), Gerd Hamscher (University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Germany), Alexei Lapkin (University of Bath, UK), Joakim Larsson (Göteborg University, Sweden), Ullrich Traugott (W. Spitzner Arzneimittelfabrik GmbH, Ettlingen, Germany), David J. Triggle (State University of New York, USA), Jean-Marc Vidal (European Medicines Agency, London, UK), Gerald Vollmer (Joint Research Centre, Ispra, Italy).
