From the main train station you can take “S-Bahn” number 3, 4, 5, or 6 (bound for Bad Soden, Kronberg, Friedrichsdorf/Bad Homburg, Friedberg). Get off the train at the second station after the main train station: “Messe” (trade fair and exhibition centre). Follow the sign “Theodor Heuss Allee / Emser Straße) crossing the rails via stairs or elevator and keep walking in the train travelling direction (north) until you get to the staircase (elevator) which takes you down to ground level. Once you’re at street level keep walking alongside the rails crossing the bridge, almost all the way the brigde you will find a staircase which you take down to street level, keep walking in the same direction along the ”Emser Straße”. No. 29 leads into a courtyard, the entrance of the ISOE is the second door of the building on the right.

Via Tramline 16 or 17 from the Main Train Station

The Tram-Stop is right in front of the station. Take lines 16 to Ginnheim or 17 to Rebstockbad. Get off at “Varrentrappstraße” which is the second stop after the trade and exhibition centre/Messe.
As you get off cross the street to your left: this is the Hamburger Allee which you follow on the left hand side walking against the flow of traffic. After a few metres you will find number 45 which in fact is not just a building but a courtyard consisting of several buildings. You cross the courtyard towards the direction of the long building you are facing and enter the metal framed glas door. The entrance of the ISOE is on the left hand side on the ground floor.

Coming by Car

Go straight until the next traffic light, roundabout direction Bockenheim up to rail underbridge. After the second traffic light turn half right, then right twice, in front of the bridge again turn right entering Emser Straße, proceed up to
entrance No. 29 (white building). Having entered the courtyard you will find the ISOE straighon the right hand side. Please use the second entrance. (It is advisable to park your in the Emser Straße since there is an extreme shortage of parking space in the courtyard.
