
Ahmad Awad has been a research assistant at ISOE since 2023. He finished his master studies from the Technical University of Munich in Sustainable Resource Management and received the degree for his thesis on “Analysis of the spatial-temporal dynamics of land-use changes using a mixed method approach: A case study from Amman, Jordan”. He deals with the dynamics behind land-use changes, particularly in urbanized contexts. Previously, he had studied as a civil engineer with a focus on environmental and water subjects at the Jordan University of Science and Technology and worked in infrastructural mega city projects in Saudi Arabia.
