Katja Brinkmann has been a research scientist at ISOE since March 2019. She is working in the research unit Water Resources and Land Use. She habilitated at the University of Kassel where she was dealing with land-use changes and their effects on ecosystem services and related functions in the tropics and subtropics. Previously, she had studied Forest and Environmental Sciences at the University of Freiburg and had received her PhD for her doctoral thesis on the “Effects of management changes on traditionally used Grassland in the Apuseni Mountains of Romania”.
