
Sarah Nieß has been a research scientist at ISOE since March 2022. Using Mongolia as an example, she is investigating traditional ecological knowledge and the perception of biodiversity and extreme weather events among nomadic herders. From 2018-2020, she conducted experimental research at the intersection of psychology and economics at the Goethe University on sustainable consumer behaviour, specifically how consumers respond to greenwashing offers. Sarah Nieß studied economics and business administration at the Goethe University. She spent half of her Master's degree at the University of Amsterdam, where she focused particularly on sustainable business models and strategies.
