
Sophie Peter has been a research scientist at ISOE since 2021. Since 2017, she has been pursuing a doctorate in the Department of Social Sciences at Goethe University in cooperation with the Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Institute (SBiK-F) and ISOE as part of the DFG-funded project “Biodiversity Exploratories”. Her thematic emphasis is on “socio-cultural dynamics of ecosystem services”. Previously, she worked at ISÖ – Institut für Sozialökologie gGmbH with a focus on Social Sustainability. Sophie Peter holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology and a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management (MESPOM).
