Gender Impact Assessment in Radiation Protection and Environment
By way of example, ISOE developed the instrument of a gender impact assessment (GIA) for the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Reactor Safety (BMU).
Research approach
In cooperation with a group of BMU experts, ISOE developed a concept for a gender impact assessment, which it implemented in the form of a GIA check list. With this instrument, it conducted a gender impact assessment on the amended Radiation Protection Act.
