ISOE subjected parts of Wiesbaden city to an initial water management appraisal. Here, scientists categorised which surfaces were suitable for decentralised infiltration of precipitation. The surfaces were evaluated with a view to groundwater protection (pollutant input and filtering qualities of the soils) and their infiltration capability.
