An ongoing dialogue between science, civil society, politics, business and administration is crucial for the success of sustainable transformations. We therefore create spaces that enable societal learning and the development of sustainable innovations. The resulting exchange enables the integration of different perspectives and creates synergies as well as mutual learning processes. This facilitates overcoming barriers, resolving conflicts and raising awareness of the urgency of sustainable change.
Our regular scientific conferences address the challenges of sustainable social-ecological transformations. They are designed for a diverse audience, including representatives from science, society, politics, and business.
To the conferencesThe ISOE-Lecture is aimed at students, scientists, representatives from politics and civil society, and the interested public. Since 2014, ISOE has been offering a platform for dialogue on necessary socio-ecological transformations.
To the ISOE-LecturesOur events at the Frankfurt Citizen University address current research topics that are relevant to the public and present them in a way that is easy to understand. Afterwards, there is time for questions and discussion.
To the eventsAs part of the 2og:dondorf project, ISOE has been using rooms on the second floor of the historic Dondorf-Druckerei in Frankfurt-Bockenheim since 2025. They are located directly above the interim venue of the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt. With the 2og:dondorf, ISOE is expanding its opportunities to host events in dialogue with diverse societal actors.
