Regional sustainability as a research topic raises many questions regarding methodology and subject matter. In this proprietary project, ISOE developed a concept for regional sustainability around the example of water. Several provisional solutions were proposed for linking up decentralized water cycles. With the concept of regional sustainability, the aim was to sketch out approaches for a sustainable water infrastructure.
