Mert König has been a research assistant at ISOE since April 2025. Mert studied Industrial Engineering and Management (B.Eng.) at the HTWG Konstanz and Technology and Philosophy (M.A.) at the Technical University of Darmstadt. 

Previously, he was a student assistant at the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He wrote his master's thesis on epistemic injustice in real-world laboratories in collaboration with the Karlsruhe Transformation Center for Sustainability and Cultural Change (KAT).
