Minjin Bat

Research Scientist

Minjin Bat has been a research scientist in the research unit “Biodiversity and People” at ISOE since August 2024, following her position as a student assistant beginning in March 2020.

She holds B.A. in International Relations from the National University of Mongolia and M.A. in European and East Asian Governance from the University of Trier.

Through her work on the project MORE STEP, she explores the societal and environmental changes influencing the mobility of nomadic herders and their livestock in Eastern Mongolia.
