Celina Böhmer has been a research assistant at ISOE since April 2025, after being a student assistant since 2020. Celina studied ethnology and political science (B.A.) at Goethe University Frankfurt, focusing in particular on local (ecological) knowledge and sustainable development. At Philipps University Marburg, she studied cultural and social anthropology and human geography (M.A.) with a focus on environmental and conflict anthropology and social climate change impacts. In her master's thesis, Celina ethnographically investigated different dimensions of environmental justice in municipal climate adaptation.
