Paula Klöcker has been a research scientist at ISOE since June 2024, following her position as a research assistant since April 2023. Paula studied Sociology and Spanish (B.A.) at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and Regional Science and Spatial Planning (M.Sc.) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the Universidad de Concepción (UdeC) in Chile. In her master thesis, she investigated the role of civil participation in the implementation process of wind projects in the Bíobío region of Chile. Previously, Paula worked at KIT’s Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS) conducting research on heat in cities and participatory methods used in real-world laboratories.
