Associate Research Scientist

Paula Klöcker is an associate researcher at ISOE since January 2026. Previously, she worked as a research scientist at ISOE, particularly on the “GreeN H2 Namibia” project. Paula Klöcker is a PhD researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena since June 2025. She is part of the Junior Research Team “Decarbonization at the Expense of Others? Property Relations in the Hydrogen Economy in South America” focusing on the transnational property relations of green hydrogen politics, the global narratives and promises associated with green hydrogen, and the social-ecological conflicts that can arise in the process. In this context, Paula is analysing in particular the bilateral energy partnership between Germany and Chile.
