Fanny Frick-Trzebitzky has been a research scientist at ISOE since 2018 and has been head of the Practices and Infrastructures Hub with Immanuel Stieß since April 2023. As a Change!Fellow at the Volkswagen Foundation, she has been responsible for the InfraSETS project since 2025. Prior to that, she led the junior research group regulate together with Robert Lütkemeier from 2020 to 2025.
Her research focuses on the transformation of water infrastructures and governance. In her PhD thesis and as a research assistant at the Institute of Geography at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, she investigated institutions and social inequalities in access to water and adaptation to flooding using the example of Accra (Ghana).
