Dr. Linda Söller

Research Scientist

Since 2025, Linda Söller has been a research associate at ISOE in the research field of Water and Land Use. Her work focuses on the challenges of sustainable water management in the context of global change. She combines quantitative and qualitative research methods to develop scientifically sound solutions for complex sustainability issues and translate them into practical strategies—particularly in light of climate change impacts and evolving demands on water resources.

Previously, Linda worked as a research associate at Goethe University Frankfurt (Institute of Physical Geography, Working Group Hydrology) and completed a research stay at the University of California, Davis. She earned her doctorate on sustainable groundwater management in times of increasing uncertainty as part of the regulate junior research group. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Bayreuth and a Master of Science in Physical Geography from Goethe University Frankfurt.
