Stefanie Burkhart hast been a research scientist at ISOE since 2019. She studied American Studies and Political Science as well as ‚International Studies/Peace- and Conflict Research’ at Goethe-University Frankfurt and TU Darmstadt. Her focus was on global justice, environmental philosophy and climate change governance combined with participatory methods as well as qualitative comparative analyses. In her master thesis, she investigated underlying concepts and processes within the conservation and development nexus focusing on biocultural diversity and community empowerment.
