In cooperation with the Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre (SBiK-F), ISOE is investigating what reduced biodiversity means for the provision of ecosystem services to society.
Social-ecological biodiversity research at ISOE
The research focus "Transdisciplinary Methods and Concepts" coordinates the research focus "Ecosystem Services and Climate" at SBiK-F with Prof. Dr. Flurina Schneider as one of the speakers. At ISOE further projects are supported by this cooperation:
- LIMO – Land use and integrated modelling
- NormA – Normative conflicts in the field of biodiversity
- SoCoDES – Social-ecological dynamics of ecosystem services
- Transdisciplinarity in biodiversity research
